What this service is

This is an automated, two-way conversational assistant application operated by Shawn Randall. It is not a marketing program. It serves two purposes:

For the account owner — the application replies to Shawn's own texted requests to manage his tasks, calendar events, and reminders, and sends him calendar and account notifications.
For people who text in — when you message the number, the assistant application responds to you directly, answers your questions, and helps with your request.

Every message is generated by the assistant application in response to a message you send or a reminder you opted into. It does not send marketing, promotional, or bulk messages of any kind, and it does not relay messages between two people.

How you consent to receive messages (opt-in)

End users opt in through one of these methods:

Account owner — Shawn Randall set up this assistant for his own mobile number; configuring the service is his consent to receive its replies.
Consumer-initiated — you voluntarily text the number to start a conversation with the assistant. Sending that first inbound text is your opt-in and consent to receive SMS replies from the assistant application.
Verbal / in person — if you give Shawn your mobile number in person or by phone, he tells you at that moment that you will receive SMS messages from his automated personal assistant, that message frequency varies, that msg & data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You agree verbally before any message is sent.

We never add anyone who has not personally messaged the number first or verbally agreed. Phone numbers are never bought, rented, sold, or shared.

Opting out and getting help

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP — you will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or email contactshawnrandall@gmail.com. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. The phone numbers and message content handled by this service are used only to operate the assistant application — to respond to you and handle the requests you send.

No mobile information is ever sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Information may be shared only with the messaging infrastructure providers (e.g., the telecom carrier and SMS platform) strictly as needed to deliver the messages you send and receive.

We retain message data only as long as needed to operate the service. To request deletion of your information or ask a privacy question, email contactshawnrandall@gmail.com.

By using this SMS service you agree to these terms. The service is provided on an "as is" basis for conversational assistant messaging. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time. You are responsible for any message and data charges from your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. This service is intended for users in the United States.
